Natali Frenz

Natali Frenz is a South African composer for film, video games, and the concert stage.  Since joining the PolyForge Media team in 2023, her role has expanded to include sound design and audio implementation (FMOD/Unity) for video games.

 

​Natali scored the period comedy drama “Miss Cartwright”, directed by Asha Kelly, and the romantic comedy series “Scenes of a Single Nature” from RebelMuse Studios.   Her other scoring projects include the dramas “Dream Dinner” (2024), winner of The Pitch competition from South African production company DMCP, and “Or Perhaps Not” which was an official selection at the Black Cat Award International Film Festival Bolivia, and Lift-Off Session 2023 at Pinewood Studios, UK.

​​A versatile composer, Natali also draws her classical background to create diverse compositions and arrangements for the concert stage. Her compositions have garnered significant recognition with performances by esteemed ensembles like the Stockholm Saxophone Quartet. Her music has been showcased at prestigious events including the US Woordfees and the Purpur Festival.  In 2018, she hosted an event in collaboration with A21, raising awareness against human trafficking through her electroacoustic composition, Commuted.
